Ali Wolf, Chief Economist with Zonda, provided updates on housing trends and affordability in the market. Existing home data is at the lowest level it’s been in 6 months, but new home sales are well above where we were in 2019 and are not following a downward trend. Key factors that consumers are doing about affordability is they are looking at smaller homes, stretching their budgets and looking at different loan options.
